I CREATE!

God created the world and created us to be co-creators. how true this is but how fallow this truth lies. i lived the earlier parts of my life not knowing much about this but a couple of years ago since i got hold of this truth, i have not let it go.

always i try to be on the positive side, i actually say it as i want it. i believe my dreams can and will eventually come true so i just fly on. i put my own meaning on things and it works for me. i dont let superstitious beliefs make me dumb and lame and blind rather i am my own superstition.

earlier today, on my way to the cinema with a friend, she had a leaf drop on her hand, sticking to it and the me in me spoke out saying, "this signifies that today is your special day of favor" and she was like "really? are you serious" and then i said "yes, nobody told me, i only tagged that meaning to it because i am free too". everyday, we have the power to change our situations by speaking out what we want contrary to what we see or experience or by feeling free to use every little thing, like the sight of a bird flying above your head or the smile of a child to speak positively into our lives.

bless yourself and bless yourself. forget about the curses(if any) and just bless yourself. you are your own creator, you actually determine what you go home with.

create your bliss, u deserve to be happy!

A TIME TO DANCE

I’m reading a Karen Kingsbury book, A TIME TO DANCE and it is a Christian novel about the story of a Christian couple who were on the verge of getting a divorce. Their marriage was falling apart due to some negative actions taken by the two of them, and the fault is honestly from both of them. However, I don’t want to discuss their faults here but the sacredness and lifetime commitment in the institution of marriage.

Marriage is sacred and is a lifetime commitment that should not be toyed with at will. According to God, divorce is out of the question, it’s a big taboo before God though most people think it to be just another thing. We must be careful not to do things that will jeopardize our marriages n we must strive to not be the stumbling block to our marriages.

No case is beyond repair and no matter the mess in a marriage; it can be converted to a mine of better days to come. There is always a time to dance no matter has mumbled up things are and it is for us to find those times by taking a clue from the past times we’ve danced. If God doesn’t give up on us no matter how bad we mess up, then who are we to walk out others? God hates divorce and anyone that doesn’t see it that way is up against God; this is my view.

I’m married and God helping me, I will stay happily so to my husband for as long as I live, with God as my guide.

Karen inspires me alot, always!

FOOD FOR THO’TS: let he who is without fault cast the first stone!

NEW YEAR, NEW ...

new year new... everything.

the best thing that can happen to anyone is to be alive. even the sick in bed still have life to be grateful for considering that some are no more though not as sick as them.

we thank God for d new year, i for one so do and i apprecaite another opportunity to be the best i can be.

new years come with the feeling that all will be well, it's always full of hope and so much expectations. but the expectations are sure dependant on the efforts we make on our parts- like NOT JUST WISHING, BUT WORKING, NOT JUST HOPING, BUT BELIEVING.

friends, in as much as we have what it takes to make it- life, we must not take it for granted. we all know the sayings "make hay while d sun shines" and "tick tuck says the clock, what you have to do, do quick". the biggest mistake we can make is to think we have all the time. january is almost gone and so will all the other months soon go.

lets wake up and multiply, and progress.being the way you were last year by the end of this year is failure in every sense of the word and the earlier we start, the better our results at the end of the year, all things being equal. Hmn! what then is the call? it's "another year, another opportunity; lets make it another rung on the ladder of success."

PEACE!

christmas and life.

merry Christmas to you all.
its going to be lots of fun and celebrations, that's cool. but i hope we dont forget that Jesus is the reason for the season.
how? remember it is the birth of Christ that brought the meaning life has got today and it began by God giving His only Son. if God could give, how much less we.
please amidst the jumping here and there, please find time to give meaning to someone's life. check out homes for the less privilege. remember the homeless on the street. remember that neighbor that has a lot of kids with a little to go round.
yet amidst all these, remember to love the one who first loved you by loving Him in return. dont crucify the Son of God a second time.
as you reach out in love as much as you can this season, love will find it's way back to you because GIVERS NEVER LACK and YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!
cheers people!

NOW!

NOW!

Really been a long while. Sincerely, I would have loved to have never left for so long but I guess wishes as we all know are not horses so beggars can’t ride.
Today is all we have, in fact now is the much we have. As true as this is, many of us don’t live conscious of this. For me, this is part of the underlining factor of a lot of rubbish that happens around us. This is why a man and his wife will have issues and refuse to settle. This is why a woman will decide to work out on her life and the ones around her. This is why greed is every where, in every vacuum and full place.
People, life is but a moment, like a whirl wind, that just comes and then it’s gone.
I lost my mum earlier this year and really, it is still as unbelievable as that day, 6 months, and 13 days ago. It hurts but she’s gone .if there were things she couldn’t do when, too bad and too late. Well, she tried her best and touched as much life as she could in her 51 years on earth.
Now back to you and me that still have life. Even if it’s only now we have, what are we doing with our ‘now’? How many people have u prayed for? How many can link you to a particular success in their life? How many evil have you fought?
It’s the close of another year and so many will begin to talk about their New Year resolutions, well, how good, only that it is not good enough. What you can start now and decide to leave till tomorrow for no good reason, may never come your way again.
What I’m I saying? My mum’s motto was this: ‘do all the good you can, to every one you can, in every way you can at every point in time’.
It is one day at a time. Let’s make our todays count.

YOURSELF BEFORE OTHERS.

Thinking of others above ourselves is not an easy thing to do and come to think of it, is not expected of anyone. Even the bible says "Love your neighbor as yourself and not more than yourself".
Now many people think they love themselves when in actual sense they don't. Their actions speak the contrary of what they think. You must think of your own good before you can think of the good of others. You must be able to help yourself before you can help others.
Now i just heard over the news on Silver bird television (STV) of how a 64 year old woman was caught at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport Lagos for drug trafficking, she being a mother and of course a wife.
Now tell me, do you think she loves herself and thinks of her wellbeing not to talk of thinking and loving the 'others' in her life; her family and friends? This is a call for us to realize that whatever we do does not only reflect in our lives but also in the lives of those attached to us in one way or the other.
Life is full of beautiful things and experiences for those who will do what will bring out the beauty in life for them to possess. I bet that its people like that woman that was caught drug trafficking that will tomorrow say things like " life is hard o" or "this world is wicked".
We must take responsibility for our actions, actions that could in turn bless or curse those around us. The choice is ours to make, now and always.

the beauty of friends

i just got my own blog and its exciting. i have always wanted to have an avenue where i can share my thoughts, ideas, experiences and lots more. i love people and i love talking or encouraging.
the title of my first post is ' the beauty of friends' and this is so because i have great friends, though i'll be talking about a particular one that has proven to me that a good friend is priceless.
life for me has honestly not been the same since i hooked up with this friend and it's been like 7 years going. friends i think are for the good and the bad times and that's it with this my friend.
i first met her because she wanted to help. though i was a distant acquaintance then, she still offered to help me in a way that for me is hard to forget so many things i have learnt about life is linked to her in some ways- passion for excellence n success, wealth, love and life.
did i tell u that i speak french very well, that's kudo's to the efforts she made to assist me when i needed to.
now, i'm writing to you. this is because i was inspired by her wanting to share with the world what she knows through her blog.
this friend is compassionate and caring, she is one great encourager and a great fighter.
i could go on and one but....! do you have a friend? someone who can have your back anyday and time? are you a friend indeed?
i have one, she is Tamunoibifiri Mobolaji kamson and she is teaching me to be one and as such i dedicate this blog to her and to the good that she embraces.
